Being in a “Caloric” deficit is pretty much essential to lose fat BUT it can be stressful to your body.

Trying to lose weight the wrong way can cause muscle loss, drop your metabolic rate and increase your long-term chance of gaining fat.

When people start to hear “loosing weight", it instantly reminds them of going keto/carniovre cutting carbs, etc.

but let me be straight with you…

Your metabolism is literally built for Carbs.

Cutting Carbs just fucks up your metabolism

do you want to know why?

Low-carb diets drop the metabolic rate.

And when combined with Intense exercise raises cortisol and lactate and lowers Thyroid and Testosterone.

Cortisol shreds muscles so that the liver can convert them into glucose (gluconeogenesis).

The liver can take fatty acids, attach glucuronic acid, and send it to the kidneys to be filtered out as urine.

The liver is responsible for converting the Inactive Thyroid hormone T4 to the active version T3, this process depends on glucose availability.

If the Liver is busy in gluconeogenesis, it can NOT filter fatty acids to the kidneys or convert T4 to T3.

but before we go in… let me break down my transformation.

probably never been this fat in my life like i’ve been there.

simply because during that time i was stuffing my face with anything i could find.

so it started to impact me mentally and physically, and at around september i decided to cut down.

dropped pretty much 15 kgs of fat in a few months. maintained all of my muscle mass. and probably gained some.

increased my strength.

and i can confidently say i’ve probably never been this lean.
